Hello guys today I will be discussing about a new
country which lies in Asia. This is one of the most beautiful coastal country in the southern part of
India.
Yes today I will be discussing about Sri Lanka . Sri
lanka is very popular from the time when King Ravana used to rule here. But
things have changed so far in Sri Lanka , as earlier this country was known by
the name “Lanka” but now it is called Sri Lanka.
Located in the southern part of India , this country
has a population of approximately 2.17 Cr people. The country capitals are
Colombo and Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte , where Colombo is the commercial capital
and Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte is the administrative capital.
So today I am going to discuss about 3 best places of
Sri Lanka . There are many places in Sri Lanka to visit but those 3 are in my
top best recommendable places.
1. Colombo:- It is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka also it is the coastal city located near the sea . With nearly 8 lakhs people in the city, this place has a wide range of sights to visit and things to do , like Beira lake , Independence Square , Galle face garden etc. There are many good no of hotels in Sri Lanka whose price starts from 3000 INR for 3 star hotel and about 5000 INR for 5 star hotels. I personally will say that you can stay maximum for 3 to 4 days in Colombo. There are many good no of restaurants for different tourists having different taste. Also in Colombo , there are many markets where you can do shopping.
2. Kandy:- Kandy is another beautiful city surrounded
by mountains . In this place, lots and lots of tea plantations are done. Tourists
from all over the world come here to experience this natural beauty. If you are
coming to Colombo then you must visit Kandy. There are many Buddhists temples
and sites in Kandy. I personally prefer to stay at Kandy for 1 to 2 days
maximum if you have a short span of time during Sri Lanka tour. This place is
having a population of nearby 1.25 lakhs people. There are different rates for
3 star and 5 star hotel and they are 2588 INR and about 9000 INR respectively.
As the season changes the rates may vary for all the hotels in all the
different places. During your stay at Kandy you can visit some of the places
like Kandy lake , Royal Botanic Gardens , National Museum , Buddha Temples etc.
Likewise Colombo , here also there are many restaurants having different taste
of cuisines. Overall a very good place to visit and experience the natural
vibes.
3. Bentota Island:-
Basically , Bentota island is a town located in the Southern West coast
of Sri Lanka. This island is surrounded by beaches and good number of resorts.
In Bentota you can experience island vibes and also can do some activites like
you can visit Bentota Lake or you can do some water sports . You can sit and
relax in the beach and enjoy the breeze . Bentota has some good number of
resorts both 3 star and 5 star having price approximately 3000 INR and 6000 INR
respectively. Different food tastes and cuisines are available here as well. You can stay for atleast 2 days here as per my
recommendation if you are going to Sri Lanka for 1 week.
