Hello to all my travel loving readers … , I know its
been a while that I haven’t posted anything about travel ,but today I came with
an extremely interesting and exciting blog. This blog is all about one of the
best and my favourite destination Belgium.
Before going into the main topic let me give you a
small idea of Belgium.
Belgium is of the most beautiful and most historic
countries in western part of Europe. It is also the headquarters of NATO and
European Union. Its population is about 1.15 Cr . Its capital is Brussels and
the languages spoken over here is French , German and Dutch. English is also
spoken by the people as it is a tourist destination so you will find English speaking
people also.
For foodies this place might suit them very well coz waffles ,chocolates and fries are famous here. Besides that hamburgers and spaghetti is also found popular among Belgium people.
In this blog I will give you a quick idea about the 4
best cities to visit in Belgium.
These places are known for their beautiful buildings ,
artwork and other stuffs as well.
1. Brussels:- It is the capital city of Belgium . It is a historical city with some famous historical buildings and statues like Grand Palace ,
the iconic Manneken Pis ,
Royal Palace of Belgium.
This city has some famous Cathedrals like St Michael and St Gudula.
You must start your Belgium tour by exploring its capital city first , as international flights from all over the world lands in here only in Belgium , so you start from Brussels only. For shopping lovers, Royal Gallery of St Hubert is meant for them.
From chocolates shops to restaurants , from cafes to pastry shops and from jewellery to boutiques you will find here. Besides for musical lovers who loves musical instruments , Musical Instruments Museum is a best place for them.
2. Antwerp:- This town is a medieval town with some of the best old buildings and beautiful spots. Starting from town square i.e Grote Markt
you can explore all its beautiful places . Antwerp has the most beautiful museums like Museum aan de Stroom ,
Plantin - Moretus Museum ,
Museum of Modern Art.
Besides these it has the beautiful Cathedral of our Lady
. If you are coming to Belgium then don’t miss
visiting Antwerp. 
3. Ghent:- Ghent is famous for its medieval monuments , art museums and canals. Tourists from all over the world visits Ghent for witnessing these medieval architectures and can explore the town by doing one round boat ride. You can explore the town by walking also. You can visit Gravensteen castle ,
Saint Bavo’s Cathedral
and Ghent city museum.
4. Bruges:- Bruges also has beautiful canals along with some historical architectures and landmarks. You can start your exploring by visiting its City Hall.
Then Church of our Lady Bruges ,
Groeninge Museum
and the most iconic church Basilica of the Holy Blood
where the holy blood of Jesus Christ is still preserved here. Other than that you can roam around the streets to explore offbeat tourist attractions.
Now when it comes to accommodation , there are wide of
hotels , hostels and Airbnb. So if you are solo traveller then hostels might
suit you , but if you are travelling with your family then hotels are and Airbnb
are the best . Almost all types of rates are available for hotels and hostels
as well. And for commuting in the cities public transport is the best way to
use and explore the cities. For going from one city to another city , intercity
trains are available or if you wish you can choose bus. Rates may vary for
different locations for trains and buses.
