Trust me guys this blog is about one of the most beautiful places in the world
which most of the people has dream to visit. .
Yes! This blog is all about London , the city of
dreams……..
London , the capital city of England, is the most popular destinations for the
people all over the world . Every year about 30 million people visits London . The
population of London is approximately 9 million people. With huge population ,
London is having some catchy and exotic locations which tourists can enjoy . The
rates of the hotels in the London are having different prices , like 3 star
hotel will be costing around 63.46 pounds (5,981 INR) and 5 star hotel will be around 244.05 pounds (23,000
INR). However the rates may vary time to time.
It takes about 9 hours from India to London. Most of
us have studied about London in books but once you visit there, your excitement
level will be so high to see the city and its spots in front of your eyes.
Although we are familiar with some of its locations and iconic spots like Big
Ben , London’ s eye and Westminster Abbey
and London Bridge but also there are some destinations which are there
in London and not much familiar to us. So here I will be discussing about the
unknown places and also the known places in brief about the places in London.
1. Buckingham
Palace:- This place is very much popular to tourists. It is basically the
monarch headquarters of United Kingdom and is situated in the City of Westminster.
A lot of tourists from different parts of the globe visit there. It remains
open from 9.30 AM to 7.30 PM. However the price for the tickets are 24 pounds(2261.84INR) for adults and for children its 13.50 pounds(1272.29 INR). Such a good place to visit and
know its history is worth what a tourist needs. One must visit there.
2. St. Paul Cathedral:- It is basically London’s
Anglican cathedral. It is situated in the Ludgate hill and also it is the
highest point in London. It is about 365 feet high and its dome is framed by Wren’s
city churches . It is established in 1675. Tourists visit a lot. This cathedral
is opened from Monday to Saturday and in between 8.30AM to 4.30PM. Tickets price
for adults are 18 pounds(1696.38 INR), for students and seniors it is 16 pounds(1507.89 INR) and for children
it is 8 pounds(753.95 INR).
3. Big Ben:- The most iconic , the most famous and one
of the most popular names when it comes to visit London. Situated in the
Westminster of London , this clock is very massive and was established in the
year 1843 , in the month of September. A lovely view from other part of the bridge
is seen and trust me it is so beautiful. A very good place to take some cool
pictures. Must visit place for the tourists.
4. London Bridge:- London Bridge, I can say almost
everyone knows about this bridge right from the childhood. Every children in
the kindergarten have gone through the poem “London Bridge is falling down”,
and this the bridge in actual. Established in the year 1973 and is opened for public transport. This is one of
the most iconic place to visit in the morning and as well as evening. This
bridge gets divided into two parts when any ships passes by. But when you visit
to watch London bridge in evening, it looks even more beautiful then what you
will see in the morning.
5.Westminster Abbey:- It is a royal church and which
was formerly known as Collegiate Church of Saint Peter. Situated in the west of
Westminster , its height is about 85 feet. It remains open from 9.30 AM. It was
established on 10th December
1065.
6. Piccadilly Circus:- Piccadilly circus is a road
junction. Founded in 1819 , this place is one of the famous for shopping areas
, malls etc where tourists visit. During evening , tourists visit much more
because they see lights , entertainment and buzz and lots of activities. Must
visit place for tourists especially for those who loves shopping.
Apart from that there are many places to visit. London
is so beautiful and it has so many destinations that one cannot finish visiting
them by staying only for a week.
